Training Duration: January 5, 2026 – April 10, 2026
Training Schedule: Twice a month on the 1st and 2nd Mondays of January and February; every Monday in March.
Final Vetting Meeting: Following the training sessions, perspectives will meet with the Guardians for final vetting.
Installation Ceremony: Scheduled for April 10, 2026.

Curriculum Overview

This training program is designed to equip new Zekenim Council members with the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill their roles effectively. Each session will incorporate teachings on the Scriptures, GAi's doctrines, practical ministry skills, and the responsibilities of Zekenim within the Theocracy (Torah-based) system.

Week 1: Introduction to the Zekenim Council

Date: January 5, 2026
Focus:

  • The role and significance of the Zekenim Council within GAi
  • Overview of the qualifications and responsibilities of a Zaqen
  • Introducing the structure of leadership within the Theocracy
  • Theocracy Topic: Definition and understanding of Theocracy in the context of GAi, including the principles of governance outlined in Exodus 19:3-8.
    Activities:
  • Group discussion on expectations and goals for the training period
  • Overview of the curriculum
  • Group Assignment: Create a presentation on the role of Zekenim in a biblical context.
  • Quiz: Test knowledge on the qualifications and roles of Zekenim.

Week 2: Spiritual Leadership and Community Oversight

Focus:

  • Understanding spiritual leadership principles derived from Scriptures
  • The Zekenim's role in maintaining the spiritual health and integrity of the community
  • Theocracy Topic: The implications of spiritual leadership within a Theocratic framework and the role of Yahuah as the ultimate authority.
    Activities:
  • Group Assignment: Analyze case studies of successful leadership within biblical text and identify principles applicable to contemporary issues.

Week 3: Conflict Resolution and Mediation

  • Procedures for facilitating communication across councils
  • Theocracy Topic: How Theocratic principles influence conflict resolution, including applicable laws from Leviticus 19:15 regarding impartiality and justice.

Week 4: Practical Ministry Skills

Week 5: Theocracy and Governance (Applying the Torah)

Week 7: Final Preparations and Review

Week 8: Final Vetting Session and Preparation for Installation

Installation Ceremony

Date: April 10, 2026

  • Official installation of new Zekenim Council members
  • Celebration of the new leaders and their commitment to serving the community
    Activities:
  • Ceremony involving community members and Guardians
  • Prayer and blessing of the new Elders as they begin their roles

This 8-week curriculum is designed to provide the foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary for effective leadership within the Great Awakening International community. By the end of the training, participants will be equipped to fulfill their responsibilities as Zekenim, ensuring the spiritual health, unity, and growth of the community. Each session integrates focused group assignments, quizzes, and collaborative discussions that involve the principles outlined in the Great Awakening International By-Laws of Theocracy, enhancing the learning experience and fostering a deeper understanding of their roles as leaders within the Theocratic framework of GAi.
